The Crawford County Historical Museum’s Vintage Clothing display includes bridal gowns from as far back as the 1890s, along with photos of the brides wearing their gowns. A wide range of styles and materials are represented. The Cinderella Gown was handmade out of 40 yards of tulle by a seamstress who created her own pattern from a photograph. Also on display is a gown made from parachute silk and a wedding dress worn by three brides from the same family.
The Hall of Bridal Gowns includes gowns from the 1890s to the 1970s.
This replica of Cinderella’s ball gown was created based solely on a photograph.
